Preparing for a Well Visit

We want to make sure you are organized and ready for your child’s well visit. At each visit, we will review your baby’s feeding, sleeping, elimination and development. We will also teach you about developmental milestones you can look forward to in the coming months.

Below you’ll find the schedule for wellness visits with accompanying screening exams and vaccines. Routine labs (iron, lead) are done in our office. 

All of the vaccines we use at Premier Pediatrics are thimerisol (mercury) free. The inactivated intra-muscular flu vaccine is administered annually to all patients. The live attenuated flu vaccine (flumist) will be offered to all patients older than 2 years old without underlying risk factors. These include children with underlying cardiac or respiratory illnesses.

Premier Pediatrics adheres to a vaccine schedule endorsed by the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics. The MMR vaccine will not be split.
